Pursuing Target, Waskita Karya Pede 7 IKN Nusantara Project Rampung In Semester I-2024

JAKARTA - PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk targets seven projects in the State Capital (IKN) Nusantara, East Kalimantan (Kaltim) to be completed in Semester I-2024.

This target is in accordance with the government's plan to move the capital city from Jakarta to IKN.

The seven IKN projects in question are Ring Road Logistics Sepaku Segment 4, IKN Segment 5A Toll Road, Presidential Secretariat and supporting buildings, Coordinating Ministry 3, Coordinating Ministry 4, IPAL 123, and Integrated Utilities Channel (MUT)-01.

The progress of the project carried out is for the Sepaku Ring Road Section 95.23 percent, the IKN Segment 5A 76.20 percent Toll Road, the State Secretariat Building 55.04 percent, MUT-01 56.12 percent, the Coordinating Ministry Building 3 50.98 percent, the Coordinating Ministry Building 4 50.65 percent, and Jalan Feeder District IKN 44.06 percent.

Then, ASN Flats 3 26.83 percent, IPAL 1,2.3 KIPP IKN 14.65 percent, IKN National Road Section 6C-1 0.75 percent, IKN Segment 3B-2 Toll Road and IKN VVIP Airport Access Road which just signed the contract this January.

Waskita Karya's President Director, Muhammad Hanugroho, explained that the company's commitment is in line with the government's plan to start moving the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to the Archipelago Capital (IKN) in July 2024.

"Waskita Karya as one of the SOEs engaged in infrastructure is committed to continuing to support infrastructure development in Indonesia. Through the construction of the IKN project, Waskita Karya also supports the government in attracting more investment in IKN by completing facilities and infrastructure at IKN," said Hanugroho in an official statement, Friday, January 19.

Hanugroho explained that the total IKN Nusantara projects handled by Waskita Karya reached 12 projects.

The value reached Rp13.6 trillion.

In detail, Section 4 Sepaku Ring Road Access is worth Rp. 139 billion, the 5A Segment IKN Toll Road is Rp. 1.12 trillion, the State Secretariat Building is Rp. 1.35 trillion, and the Coordinating Ministry for 3 Building is Rp. 403 billion.

Then, the Coordinating Ministry Building for IDR 735 billion, IPAL 1.2.3 KIPP IKN worth IDR 447 billion, Feeder District IKN Road worth IDR 644 billion, ASN 3 Flats worth IDR 1.13 trillion, IKN National Road Section 6C-1 worth IDR 539 billion, and MUT-01 worth IDR 158 billion, IKN Segment 3B-2 Toll Road worth IDR 533 Billion and VVIP IKN Airport Access Road.

"The commitment of Waskita Karya to accelerate the development of this project is also in line with President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) hopes to carry out the ceremony to commemorate the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2024 in the capital city of the archipelago," he said.
