KESDM Has Installed 13,155 MW EBT Generation

JAKARTA - The Directorate General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation noted that the total installed capacity of the EBT Power Plant (PLT) tofu 2023 was 13,155 MW. Meanwhile, throughout 2023, there was an additional capacity of 539.52 MY

"In the last 5 years, the addition of the EBT power plant capacity is 3,322 MW with an average increase of 6 percent per year," said Acting Director General of EBTKE, Jisman P Hutajulu, quoted on Friday, January 19.

Jisman detailed, of the 539.52 additional capacity operating in 2023, it came from PLT Surya of 290.69 MW, followed by PLT Bioenergy of 96.47 MW, then PLT Hidro of 94.76 MW and finally PLT Panas Bumi of 57.4 MW.

Jisman further added, based on data from the Directorate General of EBTKE, the realization of the installed capacity of the EBT power plant in 2023 reached 13,155 MW from the Bayu Power Plant (PLTB) of 154.3 MW, a solar power plant (PLTS) consisting of a ground mounted, floating & roof of 573.8MW, PLT Bio (biomassa, biogas, waste) of 3,195.4 MW, PLTP (earth heat) of 2,417.7 MW, PLTA of 6,784.2 MW and PLT Gas Batubara of 30.0 MW.

The target for installed power plants in 2024 from PLTB is 154.3 MW, PLTS is 770.7 MW, Bioenergy is 3,232.9 MW, PLTP is 2,472.7 MW, PLTA is 7,225.4 MW and PLT Gas is 30 MW with a total of 13,886 MW.
