PGN Supply Natural Gas To Mayora Indah, Minimum 8,000 MMBTU Per Month

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN), optimizes natural gas services to support the use of clean energy by distributing natural gas an average of 8,000 MMBTU per month to PT Mayora Indah Tbk.

Mayora Indah has agreed and signed a Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement Contract (PJBG) with PGN in this case represented by Heri Frastiono as PGN Pasuruan Area Head and Emroni Kurniawan as Senior Factory Manager of PT Mayora Indah Tbk with the provisions of monthly contract base products and special Bronze 3 sub-products.

The amount of the contract that has been agreed upon by both parties under normal conditions is a minimum of 8,050 MMBTU per month and a maximum of 10,465 MMBTU per month.

"We are also optimistic that the use of natural gas can have a multiplier impact in growing and revitalizing community economic activities around areas/customers that use natural gas as driving energy," said PGN Pasuruan Area Head Heri Frastiono, quoted Wednesday, January 17.

This is also in line with PGN's vision and mission in supporting the government as an environmentally friendly clean energy solution and achieving the net zero emission target by 2060 through increasing the use of natural gas during the energy transition period.

Heri is also grateful for Mayora Indah's trust in using natural gas as the main fuel in the production process.

It is hoped that the new factory location in Purwosari can increase employment and increase economic growth, especially in the Pasuruan area.

PGN ensures that the expansion of natural gas infrastructure development is reliable and safe to supply gas needs in Mayora Indah.

Mayora Indah-Purwosari entrusted PGN and made natural gas the main fuel, where all production equipment is designed using clean and environmentally friendly natural gas.

This factory is the latest factory built by the Mayora Group in East Java province.

PGN Sales and Operation Region III Pasuruan Area has served natural gas needs to industrial, commercial and household customers where industrial customers mostly move in the Food, Chemical, Ceramic, Basic Metal, CNG and Textile sectors.

PGN is committed to maintaining gas supply resilience and flowing natural gas continuously for 24 hours per day and 7 days a week at competitive prices.
