Arifin said that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources had recorded positive trends throughout 2018 and 2019, then affected by the Covid-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2022.

"Then the spike that occurred in 2023 was the realization of 30.3 billion US dollars, an 11 percent increase from 2022," said Arifin.

The investment targets that the government wants to achieve this year are 28.2 billion US dollars, with details of the oil and gas sector of 19.3 billion US dollars, Minerba 3.17 billion US dollars, EBTKE 2.6 billion US dollars and Electricity 3.1 billion US dollars.
