Market Share PINTU Application Grows Double

JAKARTA - The year 2024 is a year that crypto investors have been waiting for because of many events whose presence is expected to boost crypto market optimism. These two events include the exchange-trained fund (ETF) Bitcoin Spot which recently received approval from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (US) and Bitcoin Halving which is predicted to occur in April.

Since these two events were blown in 2023, it has had a positive impact on increasing crypto asset trading transactions on the Indonesian stock exchange.

Timotius Martin, the Chief Marketing Officer of PINTU, revealed that as the condition of the crypto market recovered, the PINTU application experienced exponential growth in the last few months. On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, the volume of PINTU trading in December 2023 increased more than 5 times compared to December 2022.

"In addition, the Monthly Trade Users (MTU) yoy also grew almost 90 percent compared to December 2022. This rapid increase boosted the growth of the DOOR market share which grew up to 2 times quarter-over-quarter (QoQ), namely in the fourth quarter compared to the third quarter," he explained, in a written statement, Monday, January 15.

The growth in crypto trading transactions was also felt by the global crypto exchange. Based on data analysis conducted by the WuBlockchain team, the most popular industrial media in China showed that in December 2023, the volume of spot trading on the global crypto main exchange increased by 27.4 percent.

The increase in crypto trading transactions at PINTU in 2023 came from active PINTU users in 2021 and 2022. This proves that PINTU has a high user with high loyalty who is actively involved and believes in the services presented.
