JCI A Week Down 1.49 Percent, Market Capitalization Rises To IDR 11.78 Quadrillion

JAKARTA The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) noted that the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) this week decreased by 1.49 percent. JCI A week fell to 7,241,138 from 7,350,619 at the close last week.

The highest increase in a week occurred in the average daily transaction frequency of 5.23 percent to 1,214,622 transactions from 1,154,208 transactions a week ago.

In addition, the market capitalization this week also increased by 3.63 percent from Rp11,780.02 trillion in the previous week to Rp11,352.54 trillion and is the highest market cap in history.

Meanwhile, the average daily transaction value of shares a week changed by 17.20 percent to Rp9.78 trillion from Rp8.34 trillion a week ago.

Meanwhile, the average volume of daily stock transactions has changed by 3.26 percent over the week to 16.81 billion shares from 16.28 billion shares last week.

Meanwhile, foreign investors on Friday, January 12, recorded a net purchase value of IDR 1.12 trillion and throughout 2024 foreign investors had recorded a net purchase value of IDR 6.07 trillion.
