PLN Gives Promo Adding Electricity Only IDR 202,400. Here's How!

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) has again held an additional promo on electricity at a special price through the Semarak program Early 2024.

Through this program, customers only need to make electricity account payment transactions or token purchase transactions of at least IDR 50,000 at PLN Mobile, PLN customers can get an additional power promo at a cost of IDR 202,400.

The special price added electricity in early 2024 applies to low-voltage customers with a choice of final power ranging from 900 volt ampere (VA) to 5,500 VA in all tariff groups.

As an illustration, for 450 VA customers who want to increase their power to 5,500 VA, without a promo, they have to spend around IDR 4.8 million, with this promo, customers just have to pay IDR 202,400.

PLN President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, said that this power added promo is expected to meet the increase in customer electricity needs without burdening large costs.

He explained that the promo-enhancing mechanism was carried out by distributing vouchers to customers who made transactions to pay for electricity bills or transactions to purchase tokens of at least IDR 50,000 in the PLN Mobile application.

After claiming vouchers, customers can then use them for additional electric power. This promo-added power program of IDR 202,400 can be enjoyed by customers until January 31, 2024.

"This program is one of PLN's ways to give appreciation and opportunities to customers to experience using electricity more happily in early 2024," Darmawan said in a statement to the media, Wednesday, January 10.

Meanwhile, the Director of Retail and Commerce of PLN, Edi Srimulyanti, explained that to be able to enjoy this promo, customers must be registered as PLN customers before January 1, 2024. Then, each customer ID can only follow this service product once. Each one user of PLN Mobile can only get 1 voucher from PLN Mobile transactions.

For additional power applications, customers can apply through the PLN Mobile application or the PLN service counter or office. After the input e-voucher adds power, then an added power register number will be issued, then customers make payments.

"The process is easy, customers only need to transact electricity payments or buy tokens through PLN Mobile and then claim the voucher, then add power process and enter the applicable voucher code, after the payment is confirmed, the local unit PLN will follow up on the proposed power addition process," explained Edi.

Edi appealed to the public to be able to take advantage of this opportunity as well as possible, and ensure that customers have used the PLN Mobile application.

"The Semarak Promo, Early 2024, is valid until January 31, 2024, for that we invite people who want to increase their power to take advantage of this opportunity immediately," concluded Edi.
