PT PP Wins New Contract Worth IDR 31.67 Trillion, There Is An Increase Of 1.54 Percent

JAKARTA - PT Penganguan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk or PT PP, as one of the state-owned companies for construction and investment, recorded a new contract acquisition of IDR 31.67 trillion until December 31, 2023. This achievement increased by 1.54 percent compared to the same period last year (yoy) which was valued at IDR 31.19 trillion.

PT PP Corporate Secretary, Bakhtiyar Efendi revealed that the new contract was dominated by projects with 42.79 percent of government funds, 37.20 percent of the private sector, and 20.01 percent of SOEs.

Furthermore, Bakhtiyar said the highest acquisition of new contracts was in the road and bridge sector by 34.64 percent, buildings by 31.71 percent, railways by 11.22 percent, and airports by 7.21 percent.

Then, continued Bakhtiyar, the port was 4.81 percent, the dam was 4.44 percent, the Industry was 3.44 percent, Irrigation was 1.25 percent, Power Plant was 0.65 percent and Oil & Gas was 0.63 percent.

"The growth in the contract value owned by PT PP indicates that the company has been trusted by various parties in working on projects on a national and international scale and is consistent in strengthening the core business of construction," he said in an official statement, Sunday, January 7.

Bakhtiyar also said that the new project achievements achieved by PT PP in December 2023 included the Biak Fuel Terminal (Sea Side) worth Rp. 393 billion, the Shiplift Block A-B Pier worth Rp. 275 billion and the construction of the Jakarta PON Hospital worth Rp. 258 billion.

Until now, he continued, PT PP has worked on 30 National Strategic Projects (PSN) with 12 of them have been completed. The National Strategic Project Composition (PSN) consists of the Toll Road sector at 56.25 percent, Dam at 18.02 percent, EPC at 14.02 percent, Port and Pier at 9.15 percent, Airport at 1.82 percent and the Industrial sector at 0.75 percent.

Bakhtiyar said that most of the projects carried out by PT PP were completed on time and had progress faster than previously determined.
