Rizal Ramli In Sandiaga Uno's Eyes: A True Figure Who Struggles For A Participating Economy To The People

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno also came to Rizal Ramli's funeral home in South Jakarta, on Wednesday, January 3.

Sandiaga Uno said that during his lifetime the late Rizal Ramli fought for economic thinking that was in favor of the people. Although, it often causes confusion several times because it is often different from the thoughts of many people.

"The loss of a national figure, a true figure who fights for what economic thinking is in favor of the people," he said when met at the funeral home, Wednesday, January 3.

He also felt very lost, even according to him, all Indonesian people lost Rizal Ramli.

"He struggles from visionary thoughts," he said.

Sandiaga Uno and Rizal Ramli are both members of the Indonesian Indigenous Entrepreneurs Association (Asprindo) organization to fight for national companies to take on a bigger role in Indonesia's development.

Sandiaga said that the last time he communicated with Rizal Ramli was during the middle of last year, however, towards the end of the year, he no longer communicated with Rizal Ramli so that he did not know that Rizal Ramli was lying sick.

"After fighting for 2 months, he didn't want to bother so he didn't give us the news, so we didn't think he wanted to look at him and didn't want to bother many people. I salute his stance and commitment to Indo and the red and white," explained Sandi.

Sandiaga said that during his lifetime Rizal Ramli always advised himself to prioritize national interests.

"We pray for him husnul khatimah, the family left behind will get strength, also get fortitude," he explained.
