JCI is Still Sluggish at the Beginning of Trading in 2024

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) opened slightly lower by 4.39 points or 0.06 percent to 7,268.3 at 09.10 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Meanwhile, the JCI opened at 7,272.79 and the highest level for the JCI today was 7,277.69 and the lowest was 7,245.70.

The total share trading volume on the IDX reached 1.53 billion with a transaction value reaching IDR 585.02 billion. There were 233 shares rising, 194 shares falling, and 215 shares flat.

As for those who entered the ranks of Top Gainers, namely PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) rose 425 or 8.10 percent to IDR 5,675, shares of PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) rose 175 or 3.33 percent to IDR 5,425, and shares PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) rose 100 or 2.53 percent to IDR 4,050.

Meanwhile, among the top losers, PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) fell 475 or 6.44 percent to IDR 6,900, shares of PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) fell 125 or 1.53 percent to IDR 6,450, and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) shares fell 100 or 1.75 percent to IDR 5,625.
