SMF And Bank Mandiri Taspen Collaborate To Distribute Multipurpose Housing Loans Of IDR 1 Trillion

JAKARTA PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) or SMF collaborated with PT Bank Mandiri Taspen to distribute Consumptive Multipurpose Loans for the purpose of Payroll and Retirement Multipurpose Housing Financing of IDR 1 trillion.

The credit is to support the Government's efforts in accelerating the fulfillment of decent and affordable housing for the community and suppressing the national housing backlog.

The synergy was realized by signing a consumptive multipurpose credit refinancing agreement for housing financing between SMF and Bank Mandiri Taspen on Thursday, December 21 at Grha SMF, South Jakarta.

Through the refinancing scheme, SMF provides funding facilities to Bank Mandiri Taspen to support the increase in the distribution of home ownership financing for people in need.

The refinancing collaboration aims to replace Bank Mandiri Taspen's source of funds that have been disbursed for consumptive multipurpose loans to finance payroll and retired multipurpose loans.

Through this credit facility, the beneficiary community will have the convenience of accessing multipurpose credit loans which can be used with various benefits and objectives, including the purchase of houses, both new and second, construction of houses on private land, renovation of houses, purchases or land acquisition for housing construction.

The collateral mechanism comes from deducting salaries or pension allowances every month with a minimum salary payment guarantee or pension allowance (SK) for appointments that have met the selection criteria of Bank Mandiri Taspen.

President Director of SMF, Ananta Wiyogo said that this collaboration is SMF's support for the Government's efforts to accelerate the availability of decent and affordable housing ownership access for the community, so as to suppress housing backlogs.

In addition, related to the distribution of financing in 2023 to the third quarter, SMF has succeeded in disbursing financing of IDR 8.9 trillion, an increase of 30 percent compared to the same period in the previous year, which was IDR 6.9 trillion.

Cumulatively, the Company has disbursed funds from the capital market to the housing financing sector amounting to Rp99.6 trillion, consisting of distribution of financing and purchases of mortgages of Rp85.4 trillion, and mortgage securitization of Rp14.2 trillion.

The funds that have been disbursed have financed 1.9 million debtors from Sabang to Merauke.
