Jokowi said Blue Bird Group will develop environmentally friendly transportation at IKN with a commitment to an investment value of IDR 250 billion.

The investment commitment is used to mine environmentally friendly transportation systems at IKN, such as the procurement of electric Rapid Transit (BRT) buses to support urban services, electric taxis, electric rental cars, and buses majoring from Balikpapan to IKN.

"Blue Bird Group will also complement integrated supporting facilities by using smart technology, such as providing bus stops, park & rides, depots, and charging points," said Jokowi.

According to Jokowi, the launch of environmentally friendly transportation will accelerate the development of an electricity-based public transportation system in IKN. This is in accordance with the concept of IKN which carries green areas, green environments, green buildings, green transportation, green electricity, and green energy.

"I really appreciate and appreciate Blue Bird Group's commitment to supporting environmentally friendly transportation initiatives at IKN to create a sustainable future of mobility and create a cleaner and healthier environment," he added.
