For 3 Years, The Ministry Of Transportation Completed 21 Of The 35 PSN Transportation Sectors

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) has completed 21 of the total 35 National Strategic Projects (PSN) for the transportation sector throughout 2020-2023.

"A total of 21 constructions have been completed, for Yogyakarta International Airport it has been operated. Labuan Bajo, Lombok Raya, in BauBau, Fak Fak. Those are five that have been completed for the airport," said Secretary General of the Ministry of Transportation Novie Riyanto as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 20.

Then six trains have been completed, namely the Tebang Tinggi-Kuala Tanjung North Sumatra Train, Makassar-Parepare South Sulawesi Phase 1, South Sumatra Metro LRT, Jabodebek LRT, and the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train.

Then for the port, it consists of 10 projects whose construction has been completed by the Ministry of Transportation. In detail, the port of the East Kalimantan Malay SEZ, Labuan Bajo Multipurpose Terminal, Bitung International Hub Port, Kupang Port, Kuala Tanjung International Hub Port, Kijing Terminal Port, Sanur Port, Patiman Port, Likupang Port and Makassar Newport.

"So there are a total of 21. The composition is 5 air, 6 trains and 10 seas," he said.

Furthermore, Secretary General Novie said that there will be nine projects completed in the 2023-2024 range, one of which is Dhoho Kediri Airport which is planned to operate and be inaugurated in the near future.

Not only that, there is also Raja Haji Abdullah Tanjung Balai Karimun Airport, Riau Islands which will also follow operations in 2024.

Meanwhile, for more than 2024, the Ministry of Transportation still has five projects that must be completed, namely the development of MRT Jakarta for the continuation of North-South and East-West.

"Above 2024, there are five trains, the MRT will continue with East-West and North-South. Indeed, the MRT will be very massive," he said.

Referring to Permenko Number 8 of 2023 concerning the Fourth Amendment to the Regulation of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Number 7 of 2021 concerning Amendments to the National Strategic Project List, there are 35 PSN in the transportation sector consisting of 7 seven PSN in the air sector, 13 PSN in the Railway sector and 15 PSN in the port sector.
