OIKN Spokesperson Says Third Stage Grounbreaking Will Be Held December 21, 2023

The Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) said that the groundbreaking or groundbreaking phase three at IKN will be held next week.

"The third stage of groundbreaking is on December 20 and 21, if nothing goes wrong," said OIKN spokesman Troy Pantouw after a media briefing monitored online on Friday, December 15.

On the same occasion, the Deputy for Funding and Investment of OIKN Agung Wicaksono is known to hold a coordination meeting with the presidential protocol to see the time and willingness of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in attending this third phase of the groundbreaking.

"We will soon groundbreaking the third in the near future. We will have a coordination meeting with the (president) protocol," said Agung.

Agung said that his party is targeting the third phase of groundbreaking in three areas, namely green areas with green projects that are reforestation, complementary areas to the national axis ecosystem, and areas of state institutions with non-APBN funding.

"So, in terms of total (investment) there is around Rp. 10 trillion," he added.

Until now, two groundbreakings by private investors at IKN have been going on for two periods, namely stages 1 and 2.

Groundbreaking phase 1 will take place in September 2023, while stage 2 will be held 1-3 November 2023.

Now, the total investment value that has been included in the IKN project has reached around Rp35 trillion.

Based on data belonging to OIKN, here is a list of 10 projects that are planned to hold groundbreaking in December 2023:

2. Office of Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS)

3. Office of the Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS Kesehatan)

4. Homebase Nusantara United Football Club (NUFC)

5. Horseed Sports Area (Equestrian Park)

6. Nusantara Green Belt Movement (Crow-sourcing for refurbishment)

7. Suaka Orang Utan Island by the Arsari Foundation

8. Jambuluwuk Hotel and Resort

9. GrandLucky

10. Indogrosir
