Pelita Air Aims For 241,000 Passengers During Christmas And New Year Holidays

JAKARTA - PT Pelita Air Service (PAS) is targeting 241,000 passengers during the Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024 periods.

This number increased from the initial capacity of 220,000 passengers.

The fleet operated during the Nataru holiday was 11 aircraft units.

Pelita Air Service's Corporate Secretary, Agdya PP Yogandari, said PAS during the Christmas and New Year holidays operated 11 aircraft.

Of the 11 fleets operating during Nataru 2023-2024, the number of flights is estimated at 1,109 times.

"We from Pelita Air are very prepared to accompany passengers who are getting ready for the Nataru holiday, from Pelita Air itself, we have prepared 11 planes until December (2023)," said Agdya during a press conference on Pertamina Group's readiness to face Nataru, at the Abdul Muis gas station, Jakarta, Thursday, December 14.

"So that the seats we can prepare will increase, for this year we provide around 1,109 flight numbers which are predicted to increase to (more than) 200,000 seats that we have prepared for the Nataru holiday," he continued.

Egy, Agdya's nickname, said Pelita Air also added new routes for domestic flights. With this addition, the total route of the airline owned by PT Pertamina (Persero) is 10 routes.

The current domestic routes available are Padang, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Yogjakarta, Denpasar, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, and Sorong.

Finally, we opened it yesterday in Sorong. So, in terms of rail transportation, we are ready to help from transportation facilities for friends who want to take a vacation," he said.
