Having A Ceiling Of IDR 6.80 Trillion, The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources Explains The Program For 2024

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) received a budget allocation of IDR 6.80 trillion in 2024.

This figure is partly used for infrastructure development for the community.

"From the budget of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2024, some are used to strengthen energy access for the community," said Arifin, Thursday, December 14.

Arifin asked budget users at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to tender as soon as possible at the end of 2023, especially for programs with large numbers and provide benefits to the community.

"Why should it be faster? Because the sooner it is completed, the sooner the budget is absorbed and the sooner the infrastructure can be used for the benefit of the wider community," he explained.

In next year's budget posture, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has set a budget for infrastructure development for the community, including the construction of the Cirebon-Semarang Phase II gas pipeline for the Batang-Cirebon section with a value of Rp973.7 billion.

Kemnudian, Converter Kit (Konkit) for fishermen as many as 15,000 packages worth Rp156 billion; Konkit for farmers as many as 19,000 packages with a value of Rp158 billion; Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) as many as 5 units amounting to Rp56 billion; Electricity New Installation Assistance (BPBL) as many as 80,000 household connections with a value of Rp205 billion.

In addition, there is also a budget set to strengthen the geological disaster mitigation system as many as 12 activities worth Rp207 billion, Rehabilitate the Volcano Observation Post Rp38.14 billion, and 11 units of Integrated Solar Power Plants (PLTS) worth Rp99 billion.

Arifin emphasized that to be able to complete programs that directly touch the community as soon as possible, because it will have an impact on improving the community's economy more quickly.

"We have to be fast because the funds have been provided, and it provides benefits to the small people. So if people receive it like the Electricity New Installation Assistance (BPBL) program received in March 2024, then they can enjoy government assistance for 9 months in 2024," concluded Arifin.
