Erick Thohir Appoints Tsamara Amany As Special Staff For Public Policy

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir appointed a young politician, Tsamara Amany, as the Special Staff (stafsus) of the SOE minister for public policy or public policy.

Furthermore, Erick explained, Tsamara's existence in his staff will strengthen the composite of female representatives at the Ministry of SOEs and state-owned companies.

"Now I'm adding another Bu Tsamar. This is a new special staff that I ask to focus on public policy," Erick told reporters in Jakarta, Wednesday, December 13.

Furthermore, Erick said that Tsamara has a task that must include mental or mental health problems in the employee well-being policy program.

"The consideration is public policy, we also need the voice of young people to also become a bridge, one of my discussions with Tsamara is mental health, yes, that 70 percent of the young generation has mental health indications," he said.

"With that inspiration, I discussed with Mr. Teddy at that time that we finally applied it, and it turned out that when we made it at the Djakarta Theater the response was extraordinary and not just young," continued Erick.

For your information, Tsamara Amany Alatas (born June 24, 1996) is an Indonesian female politician from the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) who served as Chairman of the PSI DPP (PSI) for 2017-2022.

Ahead of the 2019 General Election, he served as a spokesman for the presidential and vice presidential candidate, Joko Widodo-KH. Ma'ruf Amin.

After the 2019 election, Tsamara decided to continue her master's studies in the United States.

In April 2022, Tsamara announced that he would leave PSI because he wanted to concentrate on women's issues.
