JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry noted that throughout 2023, 5,673 school graduates and vocational campuses were immediately absorbed by the industry.
"The employment absorption rate for our vocational school students is 87.34 percent, and for higher education it is 74.04 percent," said Head of the Industrial Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI) of the Ministry of Industry Masrokhan in a written statement, quoted Tuesday, December 12.

According to him, the increase in the work absorption of school and campus graduates under the Ministry of Industry is in line with the increasing number of registrants and admissions of students or students at the vocational educational institution.
"This year the Ministry of Industry's schools and campuses experienced an increase in admissions of new students and students by 10 percent from the previous year," said Masrokhan.

Meanwhile, Director of APP Jakarta Polytechnic Amrin Rapi said that his party would continue to provide assistance to graduates who have not yet found a job.
"We want them to be within six months, they can get a job," he said.
