Erick Thohir Wants To Slowly Increase Ticket Prices To IDR 250,000

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir admitted that he was reviewing the increase in Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train tariffs at IDR 250,000 for one trip.

"We are starting to explore ticket prices (Whoosh) now. At first it was Rp. 150,000, we will slowly increase it to Rp. 200,000 to Rp. 250,000 in the future," he said in a working meeting (raker) with Commission VI of the DPR, at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Monday, December 4.

The current fairsh tariff is promo rates, where KCIC sets a tariff of Rp. 200,000 for premium economy classes on weekdays. Meanwhile, weekends or weekends are subject to Rp. 250,000.

KCIC President Director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi said that while for the weekend Friday to Sunday, economic premium tickets were sold for IDR 250,000.
