JAKARTA - PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) revealed that the company faces a number of challenges in 2024.

These challenges include geopolitics in the world and the 2024 political year.

Adhi Karya President Director Entus Asnawi Mukhson said the two challenges could potentially have an impact on the company's performance.

"This year, we are also facing a political year, usually during our political year the impact will be on this construction period after the year of the election, there will be a decrease in contract turnover, then after that it will rise again," Entus said in the Public Expose Live 2023 online, Monday, November 27.

Entus said the Russian and Ukrainian war was also a challenge for the company. The war had a broad impact, including on fuel.

"The war in Russia-Ukraine has caused various resources to become a bit difficult and as well as some fuels have increased, this has also had an impact on the results of our efforts, which have indeed made things more stringent," he said.

Even so, said Entus, Adhi Karya sees various opportunities that can be obtained next year.

The opportunity is like an increase in the government's infrastructure budget.

Then, there is an additional government budget for the State Capital (IKN) project.

"Indeed, the Ministry of Finance also stated the opportunities, namely that there is also an increase in the budget for infrastructure and hopefully there will be no changes. Then, there are still Rp35 trillion projects in IKN that will be auctioned off. the source of the funds," he said.

In addition, Entus said there was an opportunity for Indonesia's commitment to the green energy transition.

"This will also give rise to business opportunities that we are trying to follow into it," he said.
