Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said, Gernas BBI/BBWI will increase the purchase of domestic products, especially IKM products.
"Seeing that Indonesia's economic condition is getting better, we are all optimistic that by continuing to echo Gernas BBI/BBWI, industry players in Indonesia can benefit greatly from the high interest of people buying domestic products, especially IKM products," said Minister of Industry Agus in a written statement received by VOI, Monday, November 20.
As a Co-Campaign Manager, Minister of Industry Agus said, his party supports increasing product competitiveness and quality of Bengkulu IKM human resources through various facilitation and assistance, such as mastery of e-business technology through the IKM e-Smart program, on-boarding into the LKPP e-catalog, education and business consultation, digital literacy, and webinars.
Then, registration of the IKM brand, assistance in Domestic Component Level certification (TKDN) for small industries, packaging and packaging print designs, as well as publications and promotions on social media.
"On this occasion, we saw the 30 best IKM Bengkulu Province and five IKM Champions with the most total sales during the holding of Gernas BBI/BBWI Bengkulu 2023. The total sales of 30 IKM online and offline during September 1, 2023 to November 11, 2023 were recorded at IDR 11.72 billion," he said.
Agus said that the turnover data collection was carried out by collecting data on the total transactions of SMEs carried out online and offline.
It was noted that the average monthly turnover offline during assistance reached IDR 5.12 billion with an increase of 62.06 percent, and an average monthly online turnover during assistance of IDR 85.3 million with an increase of 235.97 percent.
So that the average monthly total turnover during assistance reached IDR 5.2 billion with an increase in the monthly average of 63.44 percent.
"This indicates that internet and technology support in the marketing aspect of IKM products has proven to be able to increase market access for IKM players, and of course this is our common success," he said.
Furthermore, Agus said, his party is committed to providing assistance to the elected Bengkulu IKM and continues to invite the entire community to be proud and buy domestic products, including the products created by IKM Bengkulu.
He also appreciated all parties who have synergized in the implementation of the 2023 BBI/BBWI Bengkulu National Movement.
"We express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment and the Bengkulu Provincial Government for the opportunity given to the Ministry of Industry to participate in the success of the Gernas BBI/BBWI activities in Bengkulu Province in 2023," he said.
The Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement (Gernas BBI) was launched by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on May 14, 2020, which is a support for the industrial sector in Indonesia, especially small and medium industry players (IKM).
