KCIC Offers Ease, Order Tickets For Groups Can Be Via WhatsApp

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) provides special services for booking tickets for Fast Trains for group trips via WhatsApp.

This service is presented to make it easier for people who want to travel in groups.

However, the group's travel booking via the WhatsApp number has a minimum requirement of 20 passengers.

So far, online orders that have been running only apply to a maximum of 5 people in one order.

KCIC's GM Corporate Secretary, Eva Chairunisa, said the special service for booking group tickets was presented because currently the group's journey is very attractive to people who use the Fast Train

Since operating commercially from 17 October 2023 to 18 November 2023, KCIC has served around 670 group travel requests with total ticket sales ordered on the group's journey of around 54,000 seats.

"By placing orders in this group, prospective passengers do not need to bother booking tickets using several accounts or worrying about getting a separate seat with their group," he said in Jakarta, written on Monday, November 20.

Eva said that the provision of special services for booking group trips or groups via WhatsApp is an increase in passenger services that is continuously carried out in order to provide convenience to people who want to use the Fast Train

"It's enough to call the WhatsApp number that we have provided, our officers will be happy to help people get tickets to the Fast Train

The way to book groups or entourage by fast train is as follows.

1. Contact the WhatsApp number 0813-4000-2920

2. Orders can be made starting D-10 days of departure

3. Provide travel dates and routes. Complete with travel information one way or round trip.

4. Provide the number and data of passengers who will follow the desired trip and class.

5. Make a payment.

Eva continued, officers will help the group to be in close places.

That way the moment of travel by high-speed train will be more memorable.

Not only that, passengers only need to make one order for all members. So that the ordering process becomes shorter and easier.

"The most important thing is that prospective passengers prepare the data needed earlier. So that officers can quickly accommodate the needs for the desired group trip," said Eva.

Eva suggested to all people who want to travel in groups using the HIGH Speed Train to be careful with all forms of fraud related to ticket bookings.

Eva emphasized that group bookings can only be done by means of procedures provided by KCIC.

Eva said that booking group tickets can only be done via WhatsApp and independent bookings can only be done through official channels such as the Fast TrainASH application, ticket.kcic.co.id sites, Ticket Vending Machines and official counters at stations and partner applications such as Access by KAI, Livin' by Mandiri, and BRImo.

"Therefore, we urge the public not to make purchases outside the official KCIC channels to avoid losses caused by irresponsible persons on behalf ofUSH," he said.
