JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said the government would prioritize investment from outside in the New Capital City (IKN) in the education, health and technology sectors.

Jokowi added that so far only domestic investors have invested in IKN development.

"Until now (foreign investments) have not yet been (entered IKN). But I am sure that after domestic investors move, more and more every month, foreign investors will enter soon. We will see later," Jokowi said on the YouTube channel of the Presidential Secretariat, Friday, November 17.

In the APEC CEO Summit which was held in San Francisco, Thursday, November 16, Jokowi said that the Indonesian economy is quite stable, therefore, he invites investors to invest in Indonesia.

"This is the right time to invest in Indonesia and I hope you can take advantage of this opportunity more aggressively and faster," he said.
