Tickets For The Christmas Holiday Period Have Been Sold 17 Percent

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) recorded as many as 102,603 long-distance train tickets or 17 percent of the tickets provided have been sold for the period 21 to 25 December 2024.

Meanwhile, KAI has determined that the Christmas and New Year's Transport (Nataru) will take place from December 21, 2023 to January 7, 2024.

KAI's VP of Public Relations Joni Martinus said train tickets for the 2023 Christmas holiday period were still available.

Regarding ticket sales, this number will continue to increase considering ticket sales are still ongoing.

Furthermore, Joni said, the public can already buy regular long-distance train tickets that are available in the Access by KAI application, the kai.id website, minimarkets, and all train ticket purchase channels starting from H-45.

Ticket purchases at the station counter are only available for train departures starting 3 hours (go show).

The trains that have become favorites for Nataru Transportation so far include the Airlangga train for the Pasarsenen-Surabaya Pasarturi pp relation, the Jayabaya train for the Pasarsenen-Malang pp relation, the Serayu train for the Pasarsenen-Purwokerto pp relation, the Kahuripan connection between Kiaracondong-Blitar, and others.

In providing train tickets, continued Joni, especially during the peak season, such as during the Nataru Transportation period, KAI is committed to providing train tickets in a transparent and reliable manner for all customers.

To ward off ticket brokering practices, KAI has long implemented a one seat one passenger policy and a boarding system that requires passenger names according to what is stated on the ticket and on the identity card.
