Ganjar: Taxation Is Not Allowed To Be Massively Taxpayed

JAKARTA - Ganjar Pranowo's presidential candidate (readpres) highlighted the tax system in Idonesia. He said that entrepreneurs and the public still have difficulty paying taxes. In fact, some are afraid to fulfill the service.

In fact, said Ganjar, the way to increase state income from taxes is to make it easier for taxpayers to make payments. According to him, taxes should not be something that is scary for taxpayers.

"And it shouldn't be scary for taxpayers, people who want to pay taxes are sometimes difficult, afraid and everything becomes complicated. Why don't we make it easier?," he said when met at the Mandarin Orental Hotel, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 24.

For this reason, Ganjar also encourages the ease of the tax system in the country. For example, he said, by arranging regulations, institutions to outstanding tax human resources (HR).

"Of course the obligation of citizens to pay taxes. The question is, why is paying taxes difficult? Why then not make it easier? there is an arrangement starting from the regulations, institutional systems, and finally, the actors must be chosen. If he can't achieve it, his achievement is slow, I think it should be replaced, don't hesitate. Any doubts? This will never be achieved," he explained.

Furthermore, the former Governor of Central Java said that the conveniences in paying this tax are also needed by entrepreneurs.

Ganjar even revealed that there are businessmen who have made requests for tax amnesty or tax amnesty but are still being billed for taxes.

These conveniences sometimes make entrepreneurs miss that, because I also join the tax amnesty, I have paid taxes, why should I be chased? That's not fair. Even though we want to run faster, we want to move forward even faster," he said.
