JAKARTA - The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) participated in the 38th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) in 2023 as an event that seeks to promote Indonesia's superior products while expanding the opportunity for the SME export market abroad.

In this event, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs facilitated 22 SMEs to participate in exhibitions, consisting of 2 SMEs in the furniture and homecor category, 9 SMEs in personal care and wellness, and 11 SMEs in the fields of food and beverages.

The Kemenkop UKM also facilitates the collective brand MyNale featuring superior products from Lombok, which is also the result of collaboration with the United Nation Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag).

Secretary of the Deputy for SMEs at the Coordinating Ministry for SMEs, Koko Haryono, said that MyNale is a brand that accommodates 12 cooperatives and SMEs. They are members of a collective brand that aims to reach the global market and promote the sustainability of SDGs 2030.

MyNale also enlivened the 38th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) in 2023. This TEI is an exhibition that raises superior Indonesian products as an effort to expand the opportunities for the SME export market abroad.

On the same occasion, the National Agrifood Value Chain Specialist UNIDO Lilik Triyanto said, many visitors consisting of entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, and exporters were present at MyNale stand.

In the TEI 2023 activity, a Technical Arrangement was also signed between Swisscontact, KemenKopUKM, and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is a cooperation in Capacity Development for Export Promotion Services.

Cooperation includes efforts to improve export promotion services to companies ready to export, providing better access to these companies with a strong focus on the targets of the Swiss and European markets.
