Collaboration Of The Regional Financial Management Agency Of DKI Jakarta Province And Bank DKI, Launches Transformation Of Regional Treasury Services

JAKARTA - The Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD) of DKI Jakarta Province cooperates with Bank DKI in the context of transforming regional treasury services in DKI Jakarta, one of which is through the launch of the Bank Account Management Information System (siMerak) which was held in Jakarta, on Monday, October 16.

The ceremony was also attended by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province, Joko Agus Setyono, Head of Bank Indonesia Representatives of DKI Jakarta Province, Arlyana Abubakar, Director of Technology and Operations concurrently Acting Director (Plt) President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, and officials of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) and Bank DKI.

Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono explained that the transformation of regional treasury services is a collaboration that must continue for transparent and accountable financial management.

"Let's make optimal use of the novelty in regional treasury services to improve the quality of the financial management system within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and become an example for other government agencies," said Heru, in a written statement, Tuesday, October 17.

Meanwhile, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD), Michael Rolandi C. Brata explained that in the context of transforming regional treasury services, the Treasury and Regional Treasury Division had made several breakthroughs, one of which was the Simerak Application which functions for account management which includes opening, closing, monitoring of real-time status and balance and calculation of gyro services as well as the proposed process for determining KPA and treasurer online.

"The DKI Bank helps us (BPKD DKI Jakarta) to be transparent in the management of bank accounts, treasurers, so that transactions whose terms are not authorized by the SKPD leadership can be tracked down," explained Michael.

Director of Technology & Operations concurrently Acting (Plt.) President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono, said that participation in the Regional Treasury Service Transformation program through the Bank Account Management Information System (siMerak) application is clear evidence of his party's commitment to continue to support the improvement of regional treasury services at the DKI Jakarta Provincial Financial Management Agency.

"Bank DKI hopes to contribute significantly as a reliable partner in supporting regional digitization, one of which is by providing innovative digital banking solutions and providing added value for all stakeholders," said Amirul.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi added, digitalization is the key to accelerating regional economic growth through innovation of digital-based financial management services, in an effort to achieve a transparent, accountable and efficient improvement in local revenue.

"Bank DKI is committed to continuing to present digital-based financial management as a strategic partner of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, including to all customers to realize the implementation of non-cash transactions, especially in DKI Jakarta," said Arie.

Arie continued, Bank DKI's support for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in terms of regional financial management is also realized through the electronicization of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Regional Work Unit (SKPD) budget management, through Bank DKI Cash Management System (CMS).

"So that the SKPD can monitor transaction activities for receiving and spending the budget on accounts easily, in real time and more accurately," concluded Arie.
