Successful Sharia Financial Competition Held, Muamalat Optimistic Literacy Is Getting More And More Upset

JAKARTA PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk through the Muamlat Institute is optimistic that the company's efforts to build Islamic financial literacy in society can have a positive impact on the national economy.

Most recently, the first Islamic bank in Indonesia claimed to have successfully held an Interactive Quiz Institute (Mikir) Muamalat among students.

Muamalat Institute Executive Director Anton Hendrianto said this program tests the understanding and creativity of participants in thinking quickly and accurately regarding Islamic financial topics, including Islamic banking, Islamic capital markets, Islamic IKNB and others.

"This is Muamalat's strategy in supporting the growth and development of the Islamic finance industry," he said in a written statement, Friday, September 29.

According to Anton, his party continues to be committed to encouraging increased Islamic financial literacy and inclusion through strategic programs, such as campus link and match with the business world, and facilitating the business world with the Muamalat Institute Movement Entrepreneur Incubator (MIMPI).

"Through this program, it is hoped that students and students can become prime movers (main movers) in the inclusion of Islamic financial products and services," he said.

Anton added, in the Mankir 2023 program, the first winner was Fathmah Hanum who came from STAI Salahuddin Pasuruan.

As a form of appreciation, Fathmah will have a valuable opportunity to come to Jakarta to become the Executive Director of the Muamalat Institute.

This appreciation is expected to be an event for Fathmah to prove his ability in the field of Islamic finance industry in Indonesia and to encourage other students to develop further and contribute to Islamic finance in Indonesia.

"Hopefully this achievement will only be the first step in the journey towards a bigger achievement. Thank you to all who have contributed to MIKIR 2023. This is a collective effort, and I really appreciate the hard work of all the teams involved," said Anton.

Meanwhile, Mumalat itself collaborates with a number of strategic partners in this program, such as the National Committee for Sharia Economics and Finance (KNEKS), the Indonesian Waqf Education Foundation (YEWI), the Islamic Insurance Society (IIS), the Gathering Forum for Islamic Economic Studies (FoSSEI).
