Fast Train Operational Trial Confirmed According to Schedule

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) ensures that operational trials of the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train will continue according to the predetermined schedule.

KCIC said that fast train trials can be carried out from Tegalluar Station, Bandung Regency, to Halim Station, East Jakarta, and vice versa safely and smoothly.

"All fast train facilities and infrastructure from Tegalluar to Halim can still operate according to the test schedule that has been set and run safely without any problems," said PT KCIC GM Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa in her official statement in Jakarta, Monday, September 11.

Eva added that the situation in the Halim High Speed ​​Train Station area was also in a safe condition and there were no disturbances.

"No damage occurred in the area inside or outside Halim Station. KCIC has also coordinated with WIKA as the contractor and the East Jakarta Fire Department to carry out handling and the situation can be controlled well," she said.

Apart from that, said Eva, KCIC ensures that currently all station facility functions can also function well.

"All employees can complete work without obstacles in preparation for fast train operations so that it can be carried out according to the specified stages," she concluded.

As previously reported, PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) together with PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) as contractors have ensured that the Halim Fast Train Station is in a safe condition following the fire incident that occurred in the early hours of Monday, September 11.

"The interior of the station building is confirmed to be in good condition and all functions can run normally," said PT KCIC GM Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa in a written statement, Monday, September 11.

Eva confirmed that there were no casualties in the fire incident.

"Firefighters have carried out a thorough inspection to ensure conditions remain under control. There were no casualties in this incident," she said.
