The Directorate General of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR targets five constructions of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) to be completed in 2023.
This was stated by the Director General of Highways Hedy Rahadian in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission V of the DPR RI in Jakarta, on Wednesday, September 6.
"For the Trans Sumatra Toll Road which will be completed in 2023, five sections are targeted," said Hedy.
Hedy said the five sections had a total length of 192 kilometers (km).
The five sections are Kuala Tanjung-Tebing-Parapat Section 1-4, Indrapura-Kisaran Section 1-2, Binjai-Langsa Section 2, Bangkinang-Pangkalan Phase 1, and Sigli-Banda Aceh Section 1.
Meanwhile, he said that there are three JTTS sections that will be completed in 2024.
"We are targeting that in 2024 there will be three sections completed, namely Padang-Sicincin, Binjai-Langsa Section 3, and Kayu Agung-Palembang-Betung Section 2," he said.
