PTPP Holds The Latest Technology Innovation Exhibition In Construction

JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) held PP Awards and the Technology Innovation Exhibition on August 23-24, 2023. This activity is one of PTPP's 70th series of birthday events (HUT).

Also attending the event were Novel Arsyad as the President Director along with the Board of Directors of PTPP, Andi Gani Nena Wea as the President Commissioner and the Board of Commissioners of PTPP, Sitta Izza Rosdaniah Phd. as the Coordinator of Public Relations of the Ministry of SOEs.

The PP Awards event which is held every year as a form of appreciation to employees in several competition categories, namely Best Performance, Exelent Business, Innovation Work, Value Project Management, Books of Works, Special Category and Best of the Best. The Technology Innovation Exhibition displays innovative works from the entire Operations Division for Construction and EPC, as well as Subsidiaries and Affiliate Companies. In general, the exhibition presents BIM technology, construction technology and business process technology of PTPP.

In addition, there is technology that is militaryized by vendors and partners who have been the same as the company, namely Oceanland, Terra Drone, Autodesk, Leica, Widya Robotic, Inaero, to Gajah Mada University campus.

At the PP Awards event, the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) also awarded three awards to two PTPP projects, namely the Shooting Field with the Highest Elevation in the Building at the Attorney General's Project, the Toll Road Work with the Fastest Pile Slab Case In Method on the Semarang Demak Toll Road Project, and the Work on Toll Roads with the Most Pre-Fabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) Pre-Fabricated Points on the Semarang Demak Toll Road Project.

Andi Gani Nena Wea said that while he was the President Commissioner of PTPP, he saw the more innovations made by the people of PP. He advised all people to continue to be disciplined and maintain integrity wherever they work.

"We are committed to continuing to contribute to advancing Indonesia's infrastructure, in line with the company's vision and mission to create innovative and sustainable construction," said Andi Gani Nena Wea.

President Director of PTPP, Novel Arsyad in his speech said that the company always innovates and updates technology to support all projects carried out. This technology is not only to ensure product quality is getting better and more competitive, but also to improve health and work safety.

"This show of innovation and technology is a work of all of my friends, both in the parent company, subsidiary, project, and all existing affiliated companies. Works are always raised every year and continue to increase," explained Novel.

Novel emphasized that innovation must not stop and technology continues to develop. The results of innovation and technology are increasingly diverse and are applied to increase the company's added value. Technological innovation has an important role in maintaining the company's competitiveness in the midst of increasingly fierce, tough and competitive competition.

"Thank you for all the ideas, innovation and hard work of all of our friends who finally we were able to witness this technological innovation exhibition," said Novel.

Meanwhile, the Corporate Secretary, Bakhtiyar Efendi, said that the PP Awards and the Technology Innovation Exhibition were an annual agenda that had become a Company culture. PTPP has always tried to increase the climate that spurs companies, subsidiaries, projects, and affiliate companies to continue to innovate.

He gave an example since 2019, PT PP together with three other companies established PT Celebes Railway Indonesia (PT CRI) which is engaged in infrastructure development, operation and maintenance of the first train in Sulawesi.

In this exhibition, PT CRI presents a train rail maintenance machine that has special specifications for divisions in Sulawesi that are different from other regions. The Company's efforts to increase the innovation climate proved successful along with the presence of the MURI award given to the company.
