BP Tapera Ready To Distribute IDR 12.12 Trillion Aid Funds For Subsidized Houses In Semester II 2023

JAKARTA - The People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) is ready to distribute 111,591 housing subsidized housing assistance funds for the community or IDR 12.12 trillion in Semester II this year.

"Semester 2 of 2023, BP Tapera is ready to distribute funds for subsidized housing assistance of 111,591 housing units worth Rp12.12 trillion," said BP Tapera Commissioner Adi Setianto in his statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday 14 August.

Adi added that the total funds consisted of 102,773 housing financing liquidity (FLPP) funds worth Rp11.02 trillion and 8,818 housing housing subsidies financing funds worth Rp1.1 trillion.

"This can be optimized by BP Tapera through strategic partners, namely Bank Pengyalur and Pengembang in order to increase the distribution of housing financing," he said.

Adi Setianto is optimistic that BP Tapera can achieve the FLPP distribution target of 229,000 units or Rp. 25.18 trillion, and other subsidized housing financing funds of 12,072 units or Rp. 1.5 trillion this year.

"We are trying optimally to continue to create quality, right on target and inhabited houses by continuing to innovate and provide excellent services, so that the distribution of FLPP funds and other subsidized housing funds can be realized according to the target set by the government"

The presence of BP Tapera is a form to approach demand or demand for decent and affordable housing. The key enablers to create optimal housing financing ecosystem synergies include big data demand, provision of long-term liquidity, harmonization of central and regional government regulations for supply and demand.

In helping MBR get the first residence, BP Tapera is currently expanding participation in the informal segment community and honorary workers, in addition to serving formal or permanent segment workers.

For information, the People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) was established under Law Number 4 of 2016 concerning Public Housing Savings.

BP Tapera is a legal entity under the supervision of the Tapera Committee consisting of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Minister of Finance, Minister of Manpower, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and professional elements. BP Tapera has a role as one of the catalysts for accelerating the provision of public housing which is expected to be able to support the One Million Houses Program launched by the government.
