BBI And BBWI 2023 Titles Ready To Be Held In Bengkulu, This Is The Role Of The Ministry Of Industry

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) plays the co-Campaign Manager of the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement (Gernas) and Proud to Travel in Indonesia (BBWI) in 2023 in Bengkulu.

"The Gernas BBI is very potential to raise the competitiveness of IKM and local Bengkulu artists, so they can reach a wider market," said Director General of Small, Medium and Multifarious Industries (IKMA) of the Ministry of Industry Reni Yanita in a written statement, Friday, July 28.

Reni said the Ministry of Industry played a role in curating and providing assistance to 30 selected IKMs who were entitled to intensive training, capacity building, certification facilitation, as well as facilitation of partnerships and business matching for four months.

"We hope that 30 IKMs will continue to be committed and consistently follow the continuous mentoring program, so that they can improve quality standards and business sales," he said.

Meanwhile, Bengkulu Governor Rohidin Mersyah said that the implementation of the peak event of Gernas BBI/BBWI Bengkulu will be held on November 18, 2023, or to coincide with Bengkulu Province's Birthday.

On this occasion, he will be given awards to the 5 best IKM from Bengkulu who are entitled to be included in the National BBI Award.

"Through this Gernas, we show a good spirit of cooperation between the government, companies, industry players, and the community to shop for domestic products and travel in Bengkulu," he said.

For your information, starting this year, Gernas BBI will not only talk about products, but also tourism, which targets 1,2-1.4 billion trips throughout 2023.

Synergy support for data collection, coaching, and promotion of IKM also involves Bank Indonesia (BI), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Top Brands, BUMN, BUMS, idEA, and other parties.

The Gernas BBI in Bengkulu Province this year carries the theme 'Mela Belanjo Kebejalan Ke Bengkulu', which means Let's Shop and Visit Bengkulu.

Meanwhile, Gernas BBWI has the theme Sports Month. The Gernas BBI/BBWI Bengkulu campaign series will take place from July to November 2023.
