The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) stated that the allocation of subsidies and compensation budgets is still one of the government's priorities in spending on the 2023 State Budget.

Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that the largest subsidy is distributed to fuel oil (BBM). According to her, the value of subsidies and fuel compensation during the first semester of 2023 is IDR 57.7 trillion.

"This is an example of central government spending whose benefits can be directly felt by the community," he asserted.
