BRI Records Addition Of 1 Million Digital Users In A Month

JAKARTA PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. (BRI) is said to have won 1 million new users for the BRImo application in the past month.

BRI Network and Service Director Andrijanto revealed that the public's high interest in virtual transactions cannot be separated from the hundreds of financial features available in the digital banking.

"We did design this service as a one stop solution digital banking for customers," he said in a press release today, Sunday, July 2.

According to Andrijanto, this transaction growth is also in line with the company's strategy of intensively innovating in terms of features and partnerships with various partners.

"BRI projects that the value of income from transactions until the end of the year can reach more than IDR 2.4 trillion," he said.

Andrijanto explained that this slick score also boosted business performance. This is reflected in the number of users of more than 27.2 million with financial transactions reaching 1.1 billion transactions.

That figure shot up 87.7 percent year on year (yoy) compared to the same period in the previous year.

In addition, Andrijanto said the transaction value reached Rp1,547 trillion with an increase of 76.3 percent yoy. Meanwhile, in terms of revenue, in 5 months the total transaction income through BRImo reached Rp1.09 trillion.

This value grew 85.07 percent yoy compared to the same period in the previous year.

"In the future, the company will continue to encourage more customers and partners who are members of the BRImo ecosystem," he concluded.
