The West Java Regional Police (Polda) stated that they were still waiting for directions regarding driving certificate rules as a condition for making a driving license (SIM). West Java Police Public Relations Head Kombes Pol Ibrahim Tompo said that so far his party had not received technical instructions for the implementation of the policy. "We have not received any directions regarding the regulation," said Ibrahim, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, June 22. So far, according to him, the construction of SIMs in all police ranks under the auspices of the West Java Police is still running as usual and there are no rules for driving certificates. "In the jurisdiction of the West Java Police, it is still as usual," said Ibrahim. Previously, the Traffic Police Corps stated that driving certificates were now needed for driving SIMs because driving licenses. knowledge, traffic insight, and driving ethics are important factors for security, safety, order and smooth traffic.
