Hands From Hannover Messe 2023, Six Companies Standing In Riau Islands

The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) inaugurated six companies that were established at Wiraraja Industrial Park, Batam City, Riau Islands, some time ago.

This marks the start of follow-up steps and the implementation of various cooperation agreements generated during Indonesia's participation as Official Partner Country Hannover Messe, in April 2023.

The six companies that were inaugurated were PT Apollo Solar Indonesia, PT Marubeni Global Indonesia, PT Tynergy Technology Group, PT Wiraraja Yunan International, PT Alpha Solar Indonesia, and Jaya Electrical Energy.

Thus, the total investment brought into Indonesia by these companies reaches 800 million US dollars or around Rp. 12 trillion and will create jobs for 13,000 people.

The Director General of Resilience, Region, and International Industrial Access at the Ministry of Industry, Eko SA Cahyanto, said that the successful entry of the investment was also inseparable from Indonesia's participation as Partner Country Hannover Messe 2023 and the support of various stakeholders, one of which was the role of the Indonesian Consulate General in Los Angeles which facilitated and coordinated with the Ministry of Industry on Tynergy's investment plan in Indonesia.

"The Ministry of Industry will continue to encourage the promotion and acceleration of foreign realization into Indonesia," said Eko in a written statement, quoted on Thursday, June 15.

On the same occasion, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (Menko Perekonomian) Airlangga Hartarto said, the Grand Opening of 6 Companies at Wiraraja Industrial Park is one of the important moments for Indonesia in efforts to recover the post-COVID-19 economy, as well as accelerate the increase in industrial competitiveness and national economic growth.

According to him, the success of the entry of investment in Indonesia cannot be separated from the promotion and ease of investment provided. "The Indonesian government provides a variety of very promising investment incentives, such as tax holidays, tax allowances, import duty excellence, and super tax deduction," he added.
