Until June 4, 2023, Budget Absorption Of The Ministry Of PUPR Baru Capai 22.7 Percent

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) revealed that the absorption of the State Budget for Fiscal Year (TA) 2023 reached IDR 31.98 trillion or 22.70 percent, until June 4, 2023. The Ministry of PUPR itself received a budget allocation of IDR 140.92 trillion for 2023.

PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said, in the same period the realization of physical work for FY 2023 was higher than the physical realization of FY 2022 of 22.03 percent with an absorption of 19.21 percent of the total budget of IDR 125 trillion.

"So, even though the budget is bigger, the realization of the budget for 2023 is slightly faster than 2022," Minister Basuki said in a written statement, Thursday, June 8.

The effective FY 2023 budget ceiling is used to carry out infrastructure development activities in order to support various national priority agendas.

It was noted that the realization of contracted packages had 2,808 packages with the DIPA Ceiling of Rp. 76.44 trillion or 80.66 percent of the total number of 2023 FY auction packages of 4,035 work packages worth Rp. 94.76 trillion.

"We will try to finish it as soon as possible in June (the auction process)," said Basuki.

In addition, the Ministry of PUPR has budgeted IDR 15.07 trillion for labor-intensive programs with a target of employment of 713,000 people. To date, the realization of the labor-intensive budget has reached IDR 5.04 trillion and absorbs 141,000 workers.

"As an effort to accelerate the realization of the 2023 budget, we maximize the procurement of goods and services for strategic activity packages with a target of completion by the end of June 2023," he said.

Then, accelerate administrative completion and budget revision, accelerate the implementation of work according to the target and deadline for completion by increasing monitoring/supervision and other things.
