Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said the total volume of traffic leaving the Jabotabek area rose 27.5 percent compared to normal traffic.

"This figure is the cumulative number of traffic flows (traffic) from the four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely Cikupa GT (to Merak), Ciawi GT (to Puncak), Cikampek Utama GT (to Trans Java), and Kalihurip Utama GT (to Bandung)," said Lisye in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday, June 1.

Lisye explained, for the distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek to three directions, namely the majority of 75,277 vehicles (44.7 percent) to the East (Trans Java and Bandung), 54,755 vehicles (32.5 perse) to the West (Merak), and 38,343 vehicles (22.8 percent) to the South (Puncak).

The details of the traffic distribution, namely, traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 36,661 vehicles, an increase of 34.0 percent from normal traffic.

Then, traffic left Jabotabek heading towards Bandung via GT Kalihurip Utama Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 38,616 vehicles, an increase of 42.8 percent from normal traffic.

"The total traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java and Bandung through the two GTs is 75,277 vehicles, an increase of 38.3 percent from normal traffic," said Lisye.

Then, traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Merak via the Cikupa GT Tangerang-Merak Toll Road was 54,755 vehicles, an increase of 17.1 percent from normal traffic.

Meanwhile, the number of vehicles leaving Jabotabek heading towards Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 38,343 vehicles, an increase of 24.2 percent from normal traffic.
