JAKARTA - The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (KemenKopUKM) held an Entrepreneur Hub in the Lombok area, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), on May 26-27.
The Entrepreneur Hub, which was held in NTB Province this time, took the theme Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development to Create Innovative and Sustainable Business Entrepreneurs.
In the Entrepreneur Hub, there were two workshop agendas held, namely Entrepreneur Hub NTB and Entrepreneur Hub North Lombok.
Assistant Deputy for Business Ecosystem Development of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Irwansyah Putra Panjaitan said the activity was an initiative that was expected to stimulate all local stakeholders in Lombok to synergize and collaborate in creating a conducive entrepreneurial ecosystem for business actors.
"Our first step is to instill an entrepreneurial spirit as a fundamental to create established entrepreneurs. Furthermore, in the midst of the development of the digital economy, we also need business actors to encourage them to enter the digital market," said Irwansyah in a written statement, Friday, May 26.
Irwansyah assessed that Entrepreneur Hub is a collaborative program designed to involve many stakeholders, both elements of local governments, universities, entrepreneurial communities, banks, and digital platforms, to develop entrepreneurship together.
"This is also done to provide different insights, including related to increasing product branding and onboarding, which is important to prepare MSMEs in facing the challenges of the digital era," he said.
The workshop this time focuses on product development and marketing by utilizing digitalization, in which some of the materials raised are related to increasing turnover through product photography, increasing branding and digital market segmentation, as well as onboarding products each delivered by practitioners or experts in their fields.
The workshop involved 200 participants who are creative industry and service business actors in the fashion/convection sector, cosmetics/skincare, craft/few, and digital.
"MSME actors must dare to take steps to change their way of working, take advantage of technology in their business operations. This is no longer an option, but a must," concluded Irwansyah.
