Sucor Sekuritas: A Company That Moves In Clean Energy Potentially Attracts Investors This Year

JAKARTA - President Director of Sucor Sekuritas Bernadus Wijaya said companies engaged in the clean energy sector have the potential to attract investors this year.

He mentioned one of them is a company in the Battery-Based Electrical Vehicle (EV) industry.

"Companies whose sectors are quite interesting to pay attention to in Indonesia, first is of course related to clean energy. This clean energy continues to be echoed in various parts of the world to be implemented in various countries, one of which is EV. Then companies related to EVs, such as nickel companies and so on are now something interesting," said Bernadus Wijaya, in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, May 24.

Then in addition to the KBLBB industry, according to Bernadus, the waste treatment industry is also one of the potential business opportunities to attract investors as carbon credit is implemented in Indonesia.

Furthermore, the retail sector is also the SME sector which is equally attractive to investors with a note that the company has good growth and a positive bottomline.

In line with Bernadus, ICX President Director Romario Sumargo assessed that the KBLBB sector is a company that is widely eyeed by investors this year, considering the ongoing efforts to avoid climate change around the world.

Romario added that the Artificial Intelligence (AI) industry also has the potential to achieve profitability to follow the growing features of technology in facilitating daily human activities.

"And also AI, yes, behind this, we just have to check whether this is really AI, or just AI carelessly. Because at the end, we also need to see how useful it is to use it," he also said.

This, he conveyed at a collaboration event between ICX and Sucor Sekuritas entitled "How to Invite Your Investment Game" in Jakarta on Tuesday.
