Angkasa Pura Aviasi Perfects Security Aspects At Kualanamu Airport

JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi has perfected standard operating procedures (SOP) at Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra to improve aspects of internal security, services, and human resource development.

"We have improved operating procedures/SOPs at Kualanamu Airport, and including ensure that all public facilities are functioning properly," said PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi President Director Achmad Rifai, quoted from Antara, Saturday, May 13.

Achmad said that safety, security, and comfort for airport service users are a priority.

The Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of North Sumatra today submitted the Final Report on the Results of maladministration examination regarding the death of a user of the airport service.

"PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi appreciates the corrective suggestions provided by the Indonesian Ombudsman Representative of North Sumatra," he also said.

Achmad said all parties had agreed to resolve this issue well.

The settlement with the family was successfully agreed upon on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

"PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi has a high commitment to provide the best service for the public using airport services by prioritizing security and safety aspects according to regulations," said the President Director of PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi as well.
