JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Housing has completed the construction of Phase I and II Permanent Housing (Huntap) after the disaster of the Cianjur earthquake.
The construction of the Phase I Huntap located in Cilaku District is 200 units, while Phase II Huntap in Mande District is 151 units.
The Director General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR, Iwan Suprijanto, said that currently the huntap with earthquake-resistant housing technology called a healthy simple instant house (RISHA) has been completed. The 200-unit Phase I Huntap in Cilaku District was completed in March 2023 and has been occupied.
"On April 18, 2023, as many as 151 Phase II Huntap units built in Mande District, Cianjur Regency, have also been completed," said Iwan in a press release, Friday, April 28.
Phase I Huntap was built on an area of 2.4 Ha and Phase II covering an area of 1.9 Ha. The entire Huntap has been equipped with adequate infrastructure, facilities and utilities (PSU), thus providing comfort and convenience for the beneficiary community.
