BTN Corporate Secretary Ramon Armando Strengthens Work Program, Controls Company's Main Mission To Support Home Financing For MBR

JAKARTA PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BTN) appointed Ramon Armando as company secretary replacing Achmad Chaerul. The decision was effective since Friday, April 14, 2023. Meanwhile, Achmad Chaerul is now appointed as the Chair of the BTN Bank Sharia Development Strategy Team.

In its official broadcast, Ramon said it would prioritize communication with various relevant stakeholders and the public to maintain the company's reputation.

"Especially to oversee the main mission of BTN, which is to support housing financing for the people, especially low-income people and millennials, as well as towards a vision as The Best Mortgage Bank in Southeast Asia in 2025," he said, quoted Monday, April 17.

According to Ramon, there is no special assignment in this new position. He revealed that he would strengthen the work program that had been prepared by his predecessor while seeing opportunities for innovation going forward.

"The focus is more on strengthening communication according to good corporate governance which has been well implemented. Substitution of officers is a common thing in the organization. Hopefully it can run well," he said.

To note, Ramon previously carried out his professional function as Marketing Communication Division Head of BTN. Ramon is optimistic about his experience so far, he is able to carry out the role of the company's secretary who is very strategic, especially in building a positive image and reputation for the company.

"We have a high commitment to always establish good relations with relevant stakeholders both in the government, legislature, media and society," he concluded.
