Pertamina Expands Trial Usage Of QR Code Subsidy Right

JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga has again expanded the testing area for subsidized fuel transactions with a QR Code in cities/regencies in Sumatra, Nusa Tenggara, and Papua.

The trial area expansion has been carried out in stages since December 2022. For the beginning of March, trials of using the QR Code for Subsidized Solar transactions have been expanded in 141 cities/regencies. As for the trial use of the QR Code, Pertalite transactions are expanded in 19 cities/regencies. Irto added that the number of appropriate subsidy registrants continued to increase to reach more than 5 million vehicles in early March. For a good response and active community participation to realize the more targeted use of subsidized fuel, Pertamina expanded the test area as of March 9, 2023.

The Proper Subsidy Program aims to record vehicles using Pertalite and Solar. Through data collection, it is hoped that the distribution of tubsidi fuel can be more monitored and flames of fraud or abuse in the field. So that subsidized fuel is distributed to people who are entitled.
