JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno invites all business actors, especially MSMEs, to be able to take advantage of the 2023 Creative Economy and Tourism Economic Financial Acceleration (Access) program.

The program was launched by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy together with LBS Urun Dana, to assist MSMEs in obtaining alternative capital, so that their business rose to class.

Menparekraf Sandiaga said, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the economic development of a country.

Based on Asean Investment Report data as of September 2022, business actors in this category in Indonesia reached 65.46 million units with a contribution to GDP of 60.3 percent.

However, behind its fairly good role and contribution to the Indonesian economy, this sector still faces very basic obstacles, so it has not been able to increase its business capacity.

"Therefore, I invite business actors and the public to participate in this ACCESS Program, because in essence this funding or capital is financing from the community and for the community," Sandiaga said in a press release quoted Thursday, March 9.

Meanwhile, the Director of Financing Access at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Anggara Hayun Anujuprana, ensured that his party was committed to supporting the acceleration of the halal industry through the 2023 ACCESS program.

"It is hoped that the halal industry will get financial support or capital through a crowdfunding security mechanism, so that the company's performance of SMEs is maximized and leading," he said.

On the other hand, the President Director of LBS Urun Dana, Rezza Zulkasi, said that through this program, MSME players would be provided with integrated and sustainable sharia and business briefing.

"So that during funding, these business actors are ready to improve their business performance," he added.

For your information, the ACCESS Program is a collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and LBS Urun Dana (as an operator of the Urun Dana service that has been licensed by the OJK) to provide an MSME business acceleration program through a crowdfunding (SCF) security mechanism.

In the program, later funding will come from the active participation of the community to become investors.
