Just Sold 250 Thousand Bangku, Tickets For The Eid Homecoming Train Are Still A Lot Left!

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api (Persero) or KAI noted that long-distance train tickets for Lebaran 2023 transportation have been sold for 250,000 seats. However, there are still many remaining from those provided.

Based on observations on March 7, 2023, at 08.00 WIB, medium or long-distance train tickets during the 1444 H Eid Transport period that had been sold for train departures in the period from 12 to 21 April 2023 were 250,687 tickets.

"Or about 24.4 percent of the total tickets provided are 1,028,547 tickets," wrote KAI in an official statement, Tuesday, March 7.

The company ensures that the number will still increase, because ticket sales are still ongoing. Sales are open from D-45 before Eid al-Fitr or on February 26.

The favorite relations so far are Jakarta-Yogyakarta, Jakarta-Solo, Jakarta-Surabaya, Bandung-Blitar, and others.

KA trips that are in the top five in occupancy that have been run aground include Airlangga Train 59.04 percent; Bengawan train 55.85 percent; Kahuripan train 54.27 percent; Sritanjung train 35.35 percent; and Serayu train 34, 77 percent.

"KAI hopes that the community can plan their journey well because the train tickets for the Eid Transport period are still quite widely available," added KAI.

Meanwhile, based on the date of departure, the favorite trains were ordered, among them, April 20, 2023 as much as 47 percent. Then, April 19 and 21, 2023 as much as 41 percent. Furthermore, April 18, 2023 was 31 percent.
