KRL Users Who Transit At Manggarai Station Reach 160,000 People A Day

JAKARTA - Manggarai Station is one of the busiest transit stations, especially since the KRL (electric rail train) Commuter Line route change.

Based on data from KAI Commuter, the average transit user of rail transportation in Manggarai reaches 160,000 people a day.

"There are an average of 125,000 to 160,000 transit users at Manggarai Station per day," said KAI Commuter VP Corporate Secretary, Anne Purba in an official statement, Monday, February 20.

Meanwhile, at Tanah Abang Station, said Anne, there were 100,000 to 130,000 people per day transiting. Then at Duri Station as many as 45,000 to 65,000 users make transit.

Furthermore, Anne said, Commuterline users bound for Bekasi or Cikarang at Sudirman or Tanah Abang Stations can travel with the full racket operation pattern scheme for the Manggarai-Angke-Kampung Bandan-Pasar Senen-Jatinegara relationship to Bekasi or Cikarang.

"Meanwhile, commuter line users from the direction of Jakarta Kota to Bekasi or Cikarang can choose an alternative route by transiting at Kampung Bandan Station, and vice versa," said Anne.

KAI Commuter, continued Anne, appealed to all users to always pay attention to the instructions and directions of officers, especially at transit stations.

"All Commuter Line users are also advised to access the C-Access Application to check Commuter Line schedules and positions as well as station density on a regular basis," she said.
