PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) together with 20 companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding or MoU ahead of preparations for the operation of the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB).

The signing of the MoU was carried out by the President Director of KCIC, Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi together with each company leader at the KCIC Office on February 1, 2023.

The 20 companies that signed memorandums of understanding were state-owned companies, BUMN affiliates, BUMD to private companies namely Bank Mandiri, Telkom, BRI, BNI, BJB, Nusatrip, Tiket.com, Traveloka, Voltras Travel, Pointer, Jaklingko, GoTo, Grab, Finnet, Xendit, Doku, OVO, PT Lanais, Indonesia Battery Corporation, and Pertamina Power Indonesia.

KCIC President Director Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi said the MoU was carried out for various aspects of KCJB services, starting from ticket sales, payment systems, regional development and accessibility, integration of transportation modes, and application of renewable energy.

Furthermore, Dwiyana said the cooperation was carried out as part of the KCJB operational preparation effort. This includes improving KCJB services for prospective passengers, increasing stream revenue and having an impact on the community around the KCJB route.
