PTPP CONTINUES To Prioritize Company Governance In Business Activities

JAKARTA - The state-owned construction company, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) has clarified the case lawsuit reports filed by CV Surya Mas and M. Yasseer with case registration numbers, namely Number: 361/Pdt.Sus- PKPU/2022/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst where CV Surya Mas and M. Yasser were former vendors in several PTPP projects.

PTPP Corporate Secretary, Bakhtiyar Efendi revealed, until now, the company has not received an official PKPU Call Relations and Requests from the Central Jakarta Commercial District Court.

"As an open company that always puts forward and applies the principles of good and correct corporate governance, PTPP will always be committed to completing obligations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations," said Bakhtiyar in his statement, Wednesday, December 14.

PTPP, he continued, has also carried out all obligations that the company is responsible for to third parties and other parties. If there are still things that are the company's obligations and responsibilities, then PTPP is committed to resolving this in accordance with applicable regulations.

"In addition, in accordance with POJK No. 17/POJK.04/2020 where the information or important events are not material because the value in question is not the same or more than 20 percent of PTPP's equity where the value of the lawsuit filed is around Rp. 3.1 billion," he explained.

Therefore, appointing IDX Regulation Number IE concerning the Obligation of Submission of Information Section III.2.1 that information or important events are non-material so that they are not something that must be reported to the public.

"If in the future there are other important material incidents, as open companies, we will report obligations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations," said Bakhtiyar.

"Until now, PTPP has not officially received the PKPU Call Relations and Applications from the Central Jakarta Commercial District Court. After receiving the Call Relations, of course the company will be ready to follow all trial processes according to applicable regulations and regulations. Based on the company's internal data and records, PTPP has completed all existing obligations to the vendor," added Bakhtiyar.
